C'est une rencontre que l'on attendait depuis longtemps...

Samedi dernier, le 22 novembre, Flexa Lyndo, Namur Break Sensation et sam* ont présenté une performance au Grand Manège de Namur intitulée VHS, un mélange de break, de musique et d'images.

Une version longue de ce spectacle est en préparation pour la saison prochaine.

Flexa Lyndo programme 3 soirées pour le FIFF (le Festival International du Film Francophone de Namur) cette année, les 27 septembre, 1er et 3 octobre. Au programme : F.L.A.M.E., anteloop, et des DJ et VJ sets par Didier Jadot, sam*, Trashe d'Encre, Ati, Mark et Guillaume de NBS, Architecte, Barbapapa Soundsystem, loïc b.o. et Fabrice, Kiki et Poupou. C'est l'été. Plus de concerts prévus avant le 22 août (Bambi Kramer au Théâtre de Namur). Quelques dates de F.L.A.M.E. sont également prévues pour septembre.

Entretemps, ce n'est pas tout à fait la trêve : mow enregistre de nouveaux morceaux, et Loïc se consacre à l'écriture d'un album solo.

Namur Break Sensation fête ses 17 ans et sort à l'occasion un DVD retraçant leur riche et exemplaire carrière internationale. Bon anniversaire à eux, qui comme Flexa Lyndo tentent de rendre namur plus funky...

Namur n'en finit pas d'avoir des problèmes de salles... C'est officiel depuis quelques semaines : le Grand Manège doit à nouveau fermer ses portes... Après le succès public remporté par les deux première éditions, il nous faut donc confirmer l’annulation de notre troisième Bonne Soirée qui était prévue le 16 mai, et mettre ce concept au frigo pour une durée indéterminée... avec évidemment beaucoup de tristesse/rage.

Le volume 1 de "Radio Acoustic Sessions", qui contient notamment deux titres de Flexa Lyndo interprétés sur Pure FM ("Cleo" et "Europe Slump") est en vente sur le site de Bang !.

Lors du concert donné le 12 mars dernier au Chabada à Angers, Flexa Lyndo a croisé les talentueux "Films du Réel". Cela donne ceci...

En vue du "Concert Outrageusement Public" de ce vendredi à la Flèche d'Or, Radio Neo diffuse une interview de Flexa Lyndo durant toute la journée.

Dans le cadre de la nouvelle exposition du PASS (le parc d'aventures scientifiques à Frameries), Loïc, Gaël et Gaëtan ont écrit la musique de "H2O !". Le film, réalisé par Guillaume Malandrin, sera projeté dans le "Palais des Images" à partir de ce samedi 23 décembre.

Après Amiens, Paris, Mons et Bruxelles, le court métrage "Retour" de Nicolas Bruyelle dont Flexa Lyndo a assuré la bande son, est sélectionné au festival de Cologne.

Ce lundi, "Slow Club" sort en France chez At(h)ome, dans un packaging différent de la sortie belge, et accompagné de 3 enregistrements live inédits. Le disque est d'ailleurs en "prix vert" et en écoute dans toutes les FNAC de France. On attendait ce jour depuis longtemps...

Le court métrage de Nicolas Bruyelle intitulé "Retour" et dont la BO est composée par Flexa Lyndo et Bambi Kramer est sélectionné au Festival International du Film d'Amiens qui aura lieu du 9 au 18 novembre.

Cette semaine, le film "Control X" sera présenté hors comptétition au FIFF à Namur. En lien avec cette présentation, Flexa Lyndo donnera un concert gratuit et accessible à tous le mercredi 3 octobre à 22h dans le chapiteau VIP place d'Armes. A noter que le film fait sa sortie officielle dans les salles du royaume le 10 octobre.

Ce samedi 11 août, Flexa Lyndo fait son retour sur scène après 4 mois d'absence. Le groupe est la tête d'affiche du Wead Festival, évènement qu'on aime tout particulièrement.

Le 22 du même mois aura lieu la réouverture du Cameo, cinéma mythique du centre ville à Namur. A cette occasion, Flexa Lyndo donnera un concert exceptionnel devant une énooooorme toile, mélangeant versions inédites de certains de ses morceaux et images extraites de "Retour", le court-métrage de Nicolas Bruyelle. A ne pas manquer !

Bambi Kramer donnera un concert le 24 août dans le cadre somptueux de Tour et Taxis à Bruxelles, à l'occasion d'une soirée intitulée "RTBF DJ experience". Le même soir, Gaëtan, Gaël et sam* lanceront un nouveau projet à base de sampling d'image et de sons intitulé "Tokyo Union".

Bambi Kramer a donc joué à Dour le vendredi 13 juillet sur la "Red Frequency Stage" avant Sean Lennon. Voici ce que cela donné : en mots et en photos.

This Wednesday (March 28th), "50 Degrés Nord", a cultural programme broadcasted on Arte (@ 8.15 PM) and on La Une RTBF (@ 11.50 PM) will present the concert of Bambi Kramer and Mow that will take place in Maison de la Culture in Namur this Saturday, with Client (UK) as headliner.

The netlabel Tri Postal (a division of Carte Postale Records) launches its first free downloadable compilation. Among the 16 available tracks, "Saddest Meltdown", by Bambi Kramer.

The track "(Oh yeah, if you scream it right now) it sounds ok" will appear on the next Northern Sounds compilation, in stores from 1st of April.
A Northern Sounds festival #2 will be organised around this compilation, and it will take place on April 27th to 29th @ the "Centre Culturel Evasion" in a sympatypical french city called "Noyelles Sous Lens". Flexa Lyndo is planned at this festival on Sunday 29th of April.

Do not miss the live date of two side projetct inside Flexa Lyndo at "Maison de la Culture" on 31st of March : Mow (Gaëtan and Gaël) and Bambi Kramer (Marie and Loïc), with Client, the "so sexy" electro-pop trio from UK as headliner.

The last concert of Flexa Lyndo in Belgium for a long time will take place at Kultuur Kaffee Brussels this saturday. The band will share the bill with The Diplomat, Talkshop and Pillow. Entrance costs 9 euros, no pre-sales, and the places are limited...

It's finally At(h)ome (Aqme, Lofofora, Kaolin…) that will release the last album of Flexa Lyndo in France. See you overthere at the beginning of next year...

The side project lead by Gaëtan, drummer of the band, has finally a name: mow. Please, also notice that Bambi Kramer (Marie and Loïc) will be in concert this sathurday at the Rotonde of the Botanique in Brussels as special guest of Showstar, and on november the 12th at the Zebra bar in Brussels.

What happened for Flexa Lyndo during this summer ?
A little rest, new projects (Bambi Kramer, see the news below, and another project launched by Gaëtan and Gaël around the lyrics and the loops of Gaëtan), original soundtracks for two movies that are actually in the editing phase (see the news of the 3th of April), "Gangsterminus" (Bernard Declercq and Thomas François") and "Retour" (Nicolas Bruyelle) that feature tracks of the last album (that were re-arranged) and tracks from Bambi Kramer and slo*blo, two other projects of Loïc. Loïc spent also some time in studio working on songs of the gifted Nicola Testa.

On 24th of June on the "Carte Postale" stage @ Verdur Rock, Marie V. and loïc b.o. have presented a new project. It's called Bambi Kramer, and it's about sad/slow songs... If you want to know more, visit MySpace or go to the website of Carte Postale to see some pictures.

There are still a few copies of the live album recorded in December @ Théâtre Royal. It's still possible to order it here. There is also some copies remaining @ Juke Box (rue Haute Marcelle in Namur), Lido Music (rue des Croisiers in Namur) and @ Le Bonheur (at the end of avenue Dansaert at 1000 Brussels).

After a long silence, Vicious Circle informed the band that for financial reasons, they were cancelling every release for the next months. "Slow Club" won't came out on this label... In consequence, the french release/tour is delayed to an unknown date. In english, don't you call that "a blow" ?

The live recording from the concert in the Namur’s famous theatre on December the 16th is available right now on the website. This is the first live album of Flexa Lyndo. 150 copies including three exclusive pictures of Frédéric Oszczak are available for 12 euros. Three tracks of Flexa Lyndo (Lo, Grand Jumble Army and Europe Slump) will appear on the original soundtrack of “Retour”, the first short lenght movie of Nicolas Bruyelle that will be shooted in July. This movie will be produced by Corridor... see the Tom Barman movie “Any Way The Wind Blows”.

“Love The Bomb” and a few solo tracks created by Loïc or in cooperation with Marie V and Pi8 will take place in the movie “Gangsterminus”, a “Entre Chien et Loup” production.

The release in those both countries (France and Switzerland) will finally occur in September… and will be followed by a tour. The Japanese release is still planified at the end of May. The label (Entak) is working on the cover, soon on this website...

After Grand Jumble Army, the second video of Flexa Lyndo, "Love the Bomb" is almost finished. It will be available in a few days on this website. It was directed by Olivier Burlet (the same director as for "Grand Jumble Army") and sam* (our supernatural VJ), with the kind help of Fred Noirhomme. Flexa Lyndo had a "End of summer break"... and enjoyed the records of the following belgian bands : The Oslo Deadtrash Project ("Headpixel data"), Humbert Utz ("La nature est plus belle encore") and Analept ("Flaw") on Carte Postale Records, but also V.O. ("Pictures") on Matamore Recordings and Major Deluxe ("Skyline Society") on Top 5 Records. These are fine bands. You have to discover them if it isn't the case yet...

Flexa Lyndo is having a "End of summer break". Thanks to all the people who came to see us at Dour, Saint Hubert, Nivelles, Nandrin and Vielsalm. They helped us to forget the shitty weather (this summer was definitely f****ed up...).

Next single is "Love The Bomb" (it will be out soon on radios that like us...). A new video for this track will be shooted during the next week.

Flexa Lyndo @ Dour Festival last saturday : more than 3.500 ecstatic people in a supersonic venue... Crazy ! It was one of the greatest moments we've ever had live. Thanks to Webzinenameless.net. Tomorrow, Wednesday 27th april, the newspaper Le Soir, will be sold with a free compilation containing an unreleased track of Flexa Lyndo called "To Luna". It was recorded by Flexa Lyndo and Duke, and mixed by Gilles Martin during the "Slow Club" sessions.

The french musiczine Les Inrockuptibles also offers a compilation with the album version of "Grand Jumble Army", the first single. This special edition of "Les Inrockuptibles" will be also available from wednesday 27th april.

The Grand Jumble Army video is now finished. It was directed by Olivier Burlet and pleaseletmedesign with Made in Hummingbird (postproduction) and Frederic Noirhomme (Director of Photography). Soon on tv and on this website...

Since 7 months, Rodolphe left Flexa Lyndo - in good terms - and the band came back to the original trio (Gaël, loïc b.o. and Gaëtan L). Rodolphe took part in the writing of the songs of the forthcoming album, and has participated in most of the recordings for it. He's now involved in theater and other musical projects like Baum or Poni.
